Win consente su Gea in ferma su covata di pernice bianca ( Lagopus mutus ) a 2800 m. L’habitat di nidificazione di questi uccelli si è alzato e di conseguenza ridotto, negli ultimi anni di circa 200-300 m., si è ridotta l’area, probabilmente per l’effetto dell’incremento della temperatura e il conseguente ritiro dei ghiacciai.
